SpotLog - Preferences

Click "Preferences" from the menu to access the apps preferences screen.

• "Recycle records ...":  If this is ticked, when you delete a class or a railway, any records matching that class or railway will be recycled to the notepad list.
• Class Colouring:  Select one of the methods for colouring classes in the data book.
• No colouring  - no colour is applied to the class list
• Background - colours the background behind the class according to the class type (Electric loco / Diesel loco) etc
• Text - colours the text according to the class type
• Class Ordering: changes the way the list of classes in the databook is ordered - by number, classcode or type.

You can override these settings for specific railways if required

• DeDup specifies a de-duplication window in minutes.  This setting controls when two similar records are considered a duplicate.  For example, if DeDup is set to 10 minutes and the same loco is recorded at times differing by five minutes - then the second reference will be dropped.
• AutoBackup - click the browse button and select a file location.  When this is set, the app automatically backup the database to that file whenever it starts.  See Import and Export.

Click Save Preferences to save your preferences.
